Establishment of International Engineering Academy in Pakistan is under consideration

Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Rana Tanveer Hussain, said that a proposal is under consideration to establish International Engineering Academy in Pakistan which will support the emerging engineers of the country to improve their skills.

The minister made this statement at the inaugural session of the 24th annual general meeting of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) which was held on Thursday (14th July 2016). While addressing the audience, he stated that the higher authorities are currently discussing this matter and upon approval, it will benefit young engineers who would be able to polish their abilities.

Speaking on the meeting which was also chaired by the minister, he appreciated the efforts of PEC’s administration for the creation of job opportunities for engineers.

The minister also ensured all the possible support to PEC in every way. Moreover, he guided the young engineers of Pakistan to take complete advantage from the facilities and aim at greater national perspective. He also urged the youngsters to break the curbs of self-interest for the success of the country.

He further said that the talent in the country is immense. Rana Tanveer is also looking forward to exploit the individual talent at the international level.
