The online food delivery service, foodpanda, along with The Citizens Foundation (TCF) and Forrun, has launched Click Donate to garner support for children’s education.
Both the companies have collaborated together to initiate a campaign to trigger a sense of contribution among individuals towards education for the underprivileged children of Pakistan.
TCF is a non-profit organization which came into existence in 1995. Professionally managed over the years, TCF was set up by a group of citizens to bring about a positive change in the society through education.
TCF is working extremely hard to keep children off the street and over the years, they have enrolled around 0.1 million children in around 1200 schools. Working for the education’s cause and striving day in and day out for children’s education, they recently got collaborated with foodpanda which is the country’s leading online food ordering portal.
The notion of Click Donate from foodpanda will only further quicken the procedure in this noble cause and it will allow individuals to make generous contributions in the holy month of Ramadan.
Sharing his thoughts on the need to create this platform, Omair Baksh, Brand Manager foodpanda Pakistan believes that education plays a vital role in one’s life. He also said that it is high time we bring about changes through collective efforts. While sharing his thoughts, he stated that:

Living in an era which is pre-dominantly technology oriented can be challenging at times. However, not in this case as anyone can contribute in this noble cause by contributing via single click since the process of Click Donate is pretty simple.
All you need to do is log on to foodpanda’s website or mobile application and you can donate an amount in a couple of seconds.
Here’s the step by step guide to donating with Click Donate, online.
As soon as you donate an amount, a Forrun delivery rider would come at your location within 24 hours to collect the funds. You will also be presented with an acknowledgement certificate which is specifically designed to thank you for the support from foodpanda.
You can contribute from Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Rawalpindi. The threshold level of the amount is Rs. 500/- and you can contribute any amount starting from there. To make sure that the funds are going into the safe hands, collection will be received at the end of TCF. An option of online payment is also available for all the users.
The procedure to make donations via Click Donate is very simple…
1- Login to foodpanda.pk or download foodpanda mobile app
If you are an already registered user then all you will need is to login to you foodpanda account. However, if you are a new user, you will be required to either login foodpanda’s website or down load their mobile app (available for Android, iOS and Windows). Once you insert you city and area to have a fair view of available lists of restaurants, find ‘Click Donate – The Citizen’s Foundation’ among the list and click further to proceed.
2- Select an amount to donate
• Click an amount you choose to donate
• Every click will increase the amount
• Once done, click ‘proceed to checkout’ after reviewing the receipt
• You need to enter your contact details if you are a new user
• If you wish to pay via cash you need to select ‘Cash on Delivery’
• You need to add relevant debit/credit card information if you wish to pay online
• Click ‘checkout’ to place an order for your donation
• In the end, you will get a confirmation message via SMS
3- Donation will be received by Forrun agent
If you chose to pay via cash then a Forrun delivery rider will come at the desired address within 24 hours to collect the donation. Customers who selected either ‘payment via cash or online’ will be presented with an acknowledgement certificate to appreciate their sincere efforts in the noble cause.
