Microsoft has announced that it will give free Office 365 subscriptions to students around the world. The Redmond tech giant released a lengthy list of countries in which this offer would be valid. Fortunately, Pakistan is also on the list. Schools, Universities and Colleges will be able to buy one time subscription from Microsoft. Students, faculty and staff could get free Office 365 copies from their institutions.

Microsoft is expanding its Office for Education program rapidly. The company announced free Office 365 subscription at start of 2015 for the students registered in the US. But now, the offer is rolling out across the globe.

What Will You Get?

You will get new Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Access and Publisher and supporting software catalogs in the free Office 365 subscription. Apart from this, there is 1Tb free space in OneDrive. You will get your separate Office 365 account which you could use on 5 computers and 5 mobile devices (including tablets).

Most of the famous universities in Pakistan have subscription with Office for Education program of Microsoft. Office 365 is a pleasant new addition that will let students and teachers work in active, collaborative and mobile-driven platform.

If your school and university administration doesn’t know about this good news yet, ping them and let them know so that they could get their activation from Microsoft.
