P@SHA introduces graduating batch of startups to investors at graduation ceremony

The tech incubator of Pakistan Software House Association (P@SHA), Nest I/O, introduced the graduating batch of startups to established industry experts, media and the investors at the graduation ceremony which took place yesterday.

P@SHA’s technology incubator, Nest I/O came into existence earlier last year. In a short span of time, it has managed to assist plenty of startups. The last batch of startups got their hands on technology and business education to encourage creativity in Pakistan. Furthermore, the diverse startups also functioned on business revolution in the healthcare, retail, fintech and advertising field.

While speaking at the ceremony, the President of P@SHA Jehan Ara stated:

“Nest I/O hopes to assist young entrepreneurs and create more tech businesses in Pakistan. We are amazed by the quality of innovative businesses and passion of young entrepreneurs. This time too, we had a diverse set of teams, focusing on areas like education, financial inclusion and healthcare that really need to be targeted to address a number of social and economic issues in the country”

About Nest I/O

In collaboration with Google for Entrepreneurs and Samung, P@SHA launched its technology incubator Nest I/O. The setup was developed with an aim to deliver required services including space, infrastructure and knowledge sessions. Moreover, it also provides mentorship and coaching to the budding entrepreneurs of Pakistan.

Nest I/O has so far provided assistance to a total of 79 startups in less than 2 years (23 months to be precise). Out of the 79 startups, 19 teams managed to raise funding to scale up their services. It is worth mentioning that 16% of the co-founders have been women.

The graduating batch of startups pitched their ideas in brief to the potential investors at the ceremony.
