Rozee.Pk’s Job Fair – Beacon for the Unemployed

Recently, Rozee.Pk has been very active conducting job fairs in Faisalabad, Multan, Lahore and Peshawar. And now it’s heading over to Karachi to conduct its next job fair on April 17, 2016. Gujranwala, Sialkot and Islamabad are up later.

It has released a new app for employers that makes it easy for them to post jobs. It is also allowing the employers to post three jobs in April for free. The employers just need to list down the skill requirements, and Rozee.Pk’s app instantly matches the user profiles against the job requirements and enlists the results.

Its Employer app makes hiring and recruiting a lot easier. You can review applicants applying to jobs they’ve posted on Rozee.Pk, search through millions of CVs, which is Pakistan’s largest database of job applicants, manage hiring across teams in their organization by commenting on and rating candidates, and call, SMS, email and shortlist candidates directly from your phone.

Rozee.Pk partnered with Uber to give free rides to the job fair to first-time users of the app and give a 50% discount on all subsequent rides to and from the job fair. Uber’s Head of Expansion in Pakistan, Zohair Yousafi explained:

Uber, the leading smartphone technology company that connects riders to drivers at the push of a button, shares ROZEE.PK’s vision of making the lives of Pakistanis better by having a long-term commitment of creating tens of thousands of jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities across Pakistan. By providing free transportation to this landmark event, we hope that more people will be able to benefit from the job opportunities and career grooming clinics being offered.

The CEO of ROZEE.PK, Monis Rahman, said the following about this collaboration:

Access to convenient and affordable transportation remains an impediment for many professionals in moving ahead with their aspirations, particularly for our female colleagues. We are delighted to partner with Uber to maximize the impact of our upcoming job fair in Lahore on April 3.

Such job fairs also exhibit that there are many people in Pakistan who are unemployed simply because they don’t know where to apply for the jobs they have the skills for. The university placement offices hardly do a fair job in getting every graduate employed. And many people don’t even go to a university and thus have no access to university job fairs. These people however are highly skilled and do a better job at work then many graduates. Job Fairs like Rozee Parvaaz 2016 allow for these talented people to find the jobs they deserve.
