PTCL has announced yet another attractive offer to get back its 3G EVO 3.1 customers who went off the board due to its pathetic speed and service. The company has announced that all the 3G EVO users who haven’t used their devices since 30th June 2014 can get 20GB of internet data for 500 rupees per month. The offer is applicable for one year, so if you are a former EVO user, you can use this offer by activating your device.
The offer is valid for prepaid and postpaid customers of EVO 3.1 service. Interestingly, PTCL has said that all the outstanding dues against EVO 3.1 postpaid customers will be waived-off if they activate their devices and opt-in for this offer.
PTCL keeps rolling out new offers to win back its customers who left it because of third grade services and speeds. Instead of launching these offers, perhaps the most viable option for PTCL is to work on its speeds, the only factor which matters for the users.
EVO 3.1 was a disaster for PTCL. EVO Wingle promises to give 9Mbps but speeds can sometimes go even less than 1MB. Usability becomes zero on the go, killing the purpose of a Wifi Cloud.
