Saqib Sajjad, an engineer by profession, is a Pakistani who recently brought laurels for his country. He has won Energy Engineer of the year award for the Middle Eastern region. This award is presented annually by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
An award ceremony was conducted by AEE where over 70 regional awards were presented to honor the efforts of scrupulous engineers in the energy sector. Pakistani engineer won the award largely due to vital contributions in the development and execution of energy management system. Saqib made it possible through his untiring research and playing a key part to the efficiency of energy improvement particularly in oil and gas industrial units.
At present, talented Saqib Sajjad is spending a lot of time on energy strategy performance benchmarking and energy competencies in Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Limited. The company is a part of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Group of Companies.
Saqib has a master’s degree in chemical engineering and business administration. Moreover, he is a charted engineer from the UK. He is also qualified in energy management and measurement and verification from the AEE in USA.
