Pakistani-Briton Humza Shahzad is all of 6 years old and is already making waves with his exceptional skills on the presentation suite of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint. Humza scored a whopping 850 points out of 1000 in an exam conducted at the Microsoft Institute in London. The feat makes him the youngest specialist in the world.

The resident of London’s East Croydon has done it twice in the space of two months. Earlier in May 2015 he became the youngest specialist on Microsoft Word as well. This is an amazing achievement at such a young age. He got his first laptop when he was barely three years old and was taught by his parents how to use it. His parents moved to London when his father got a job as a senior development manager in a multinational IT company.

His skills with MS PowerPoint have left even the experts bewildered. The local media reports claimed Humza received 90% in creating and managing presentations, 50% in inserting and formatting shapes and slides, 100% in applying transition and animations, and 100% in managing multiple presentations.

Humza is not the lone child prodigy when it comes to Microsoft Certification though. Pakistani nationals have excelled in the Office Suite of the Tech giant Microsoft before as well. Ayan Qureshi and Arfah Karim are a few other Pakistanis who attained the certification from Microsoft at a young age. Ayan remains the youngest ever Microsoft Certified Professional at the age of five years and eleven months!

Arfah Karim, in 2004 became the youngest Microsoft Certified professional. This was no mean achievement and she represented Pakistan in major international tech conventions and forums and also had an opportunity to meet Bill Gates himself.

These young achievers have certainly made the country proud.
