Mark Your Calendars – Startup Lahore Conference Is On January 26-27

Entrepreneurship is viewed by experts to be a mixture of innovation and risk taking. With such activity, substantial growth rates are achieved as well as opportunities are offered to all segments of society.

Recently, the country’s entrepreneurial sector witnessed tremendous growth. The growth rate is partly stimulated by the increasing number of start-up enterprises nationwide, in the wake of substantial economic growth backed by rapid industrialization. The booming promises the expansion of industries and business sector for employment generation.

MIT Enterprise Forum of Pakistan (MITEFP) is one of the 24 worldwide chapters looking to engage stakeholders of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and make a difference through innovation and entrepreneurship. It is a global body of industry experts and professionals affiliated with the Massachusetts Institute for Technology (MIT) through MIT Technology Review. The organization aims at promoting entrepreneurial development in Pakistan through different workshops, training programs and its flagship event: The Lahore start-up conference.

 About STARTUP LAHORE

STARTUP LAHORE is MITEFP’s start-up conference going to be held at Expo Centre in Lahore from January 26 till 27. The event is expected to attract more than 3,000 attendees, 150 start-ups and 30 leading investors from all over Pakistan. The aim of the two-day event is to provide young aspiring entrepreneurs with expanded access to relevant information and potential opportunities, including investment in a number of leading national venture funds. It will help create an increased sense of mentorship and relationship building.

“STARTUP LAHORE aims to be a global networking event which will bring together over 200+ of the finest angel investors, entrepreneurs, mentors, speakers, tech companies, accelerators and media onto one platform to discuss strategic advantages, challenges and technology based opportunities that will help accelerate digitally channeled alliances within value driven businesses,”

a statement on the STARTUP LAHORE’s official website reads.

“Our 2-day conference with more than 3000 attendees is the perfect opportunity for you to network and learn. Startups have access to our network of national and international investors as well as trainings and mentorship opportunities,”

statement further mentioned.

How to Register?

All tickets, including Startup, Attendee and Investor passes, can be booked online at the event website. All the pass holders will have access to workshops and seminars. All the start-ups will have stalls to showcase their products and services while other pass holders will be eligible to attend seminars and workshops featuring the leadership, knowledge and perspectives of some of the greatest minds in the local industry.
