Appography Raises Next Round of Funding

With a seed funding of $350,000, Appography, a Plan9 alumni, has decided to change its brand name to Vivid Technologies and re-enter the market by storm. The two investors include Sunbridge Global Ventures (The Global Seed Accelerator ) and Rosemont Group that provides private capital for startups worldwide.

The app aims to redefine customer service by getting rid of waiting on helplines and instead displaying all the helpline choices on the phone’s screen so that the customer can easily select what he is looking for. Furthermore, the app also allows the customer to send the screenshot of the problem he’s facing to the customer service representative, in order to enable fast resolution of queries and avoid any confusion. In a country like Pakistan, where the customers are hardly tech-savvy, this app can save them and the CSR folks a lot of time by avoiding unnecessary hassle.

In the highly competitive markets of today, many businesses try to find their niche in providing the best customer experience. As such Vivid Technologies come in extremely handy as a cost and time-saving tool. It is fascinating to see incubators like Plan9 finding raw talent and converting them into masterpieces in such a short span of time.
