Badar Khushnood, well known in the Pakistan technology sector, has recently been appointed by Facebook as Product Growth Manager, Pakistan. The latest move by Khushnood is seen as another feather in the professional’s cap with a very strong profile in the field of IT. He has already served as the Country Consultant at both Twitter as well as Google.
In addition to maintaining highly distinguished designations, Khushnood has made his mark as an entrepreneur as well. He is the co-Founder and director of Bramerz, a leading digital advertising firm offering cutting-edge projects & products from conception to commercial deployment with a strong focus on product design. In line with the latest development, his Linkedin profile indicates that he has left the office of VP Products at Bramerz, last month.
Badar has a forte in economics, holding a degree in Economics from the prestigious Lahore School of Economics, preceded by the bachelor’s degree from the Government College University, Lahore. While he completed his higher secondary schooling from Crescent Model Higher Secondary School.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he specializes in B2B & B2C online strategy development, internet & email marketing & brand management. He also possesses experience in developing and implementing business strategies, project plans, and negotiating formal business relationships.
Before being associated with the global IT giants, he had worked with Nishat Group, SMEDA, ASUSTeK Computer Inc. and Metro Cash & Carry. Badar while working for significant projects, has helped launch various websites for projects such as Business Support Center at PIDC and Shell Livewire Pakistan. He is also considered the master mind behind the initiation of Pakistan’s first official B2B e-commerce website smegda.org.pk.
Mr. Khushnood is among the talented youth, representing the new face of our country at international arena. He is the first person from Pakistan who has worked in the three global networking sites.
