With the goal of establishing a convenient and efficient E-Ticketing System in Pakistan, Bookme.pk launched Pakistan’s first online ticketing platform in 2014 that supports major transport services and cinemas.
The traditional way to book a ticket was where the customer had to call in to make a reservation and then go to the bus terminal or the theater to pay for the ticket prior to the actual bus/movie. Customers were also inconvenienced by standing in long queues that cause delays, often causing them to miss their bus or movie.
Bookme.pk was designed to save all that hassle and provide convenience to the customer by introducing the online booking of a cinema or bus ticket in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
Tickets can be booked at the website, www.bookme.pk or visitors can also use a user-friendly app that allows them to browse for upcoming movies, check show times and book their movie tickets, or review bus schedules, and reserve their seats.
Easypay, Pakistan’s first consolidated Online Payment Solution, has collaborated with Bookme.pk to facilitate customers with the option of three different online payment methods so they can conveniently get their cinema or bus tickets at the comfort of their homes.
Customers can pay directly through their Easypaisa Account, or they use any Visa or MasterCard or make payments at any of the 75,000+ Easypaisa shops across Pakistan which are open till late at night and also on weekends.
