Internet is undoubtedly an escape for some people but it might become a burden for those who do not find it exciting to be socially connected 24/7. At times you feel you need to detach yourself from the myriad of accounts and activities which are waiting for your attention with their constant pings at your digital device. Earlier, it wasn’t possible to delete your existence from the internet completely, but a recently developed app has made it very much possible. Thus, a good news for all those looking for some quiet in their life!
Two Swedish web developers named Wille Dahlbo and Linus Unnebäck have developed an application called ‘Deseat.me’. This app allows users to remove their presence from the internet entirely. Although it seems very difficult to even remember the number of sites we have logged on to or the type of accounts we have registered ourselves; but this app finds all your available data.
Once you log on to a website while using Google or Outlook account, the app scans all the apps and services you have made an account for and provides a list of all of them. Interestingly, the list has the name of the website or app on the left side and provides an option to delete yourself from that particular link/website.
Once the app finds your respective accounts, it provides a delete link icon that easily unsubscribes you from that particular website forever. Before you realize you are free from all those notifications and account activation prompts that haunt you every now and then. The amount of time it takes to free yourself from the account deletion process, depends on the number of accounts you have created earlier.
Hence, those searching for some peace in the ever up-roaring world of internet connectivity, here is a chance for you to cut out the strings and enjoy the quiet. Simply download Deseat.me and follow the instructions to make your life stress free!
