Discover The Hidden Page And Apple Will Offer You A Job

Number of top tech firms usually use eccentric methods to hire people in their organizations. This is exactly how Google recruited a guy who was asked to hunt for programming terms repetitively. As a result, he was offered a job and he is currently relishing his stay at the company. However, this time around, Apple has posted a job offer in an unconventional manner. If you can find out the hidden page on the tech giant’s website then Apple will offer you a job.

A security editor at ZDNet, Zack Whittaker brought this news into the limelight when he tweeted a screenshot from the Apple website. The statement read that the company is looking for a “talented engineer to develop a critical infrastructure component that is to be a key part of the Apple ecosystem.”

Who discovered the job posting initially?

The aforementioned tweet from the security expert gained a lot of traction, understandably so. Zack was bombarded with plenty of questions regarding the discovery of the job posting. In his blog post, he humbly answered the queries of hundreds of individuals. He was also of the view that since he has found out the job, it does not necessarily mean that he is the suitable candidate for the position. He stated:

“I was using Burp Suite, a traffic analyzer, to intercept data between several iPhone apps to see what kind of personal data was sent along to advertisers”

While he was at it, he also observed that there were various outbound links to one of Apple’s ‘blobstore’ servers. As soon as he picked up the web address and entered it in an address bar of a web browser, he was offered and greeted with a job offer from Apple. Cool isn’t it?

Zack discovered the following blobstore server address:

us-east-1.blobstore.apple.com

However, it has now been taken down.

It is an indication that there might be other jobs available or hidden on various pages of the Apple. We wish you luck if you are looking forward to hunt them.
