Foodpanda Pakistan, the country’s leading online and mobile food ordering platform, has taken an initiative called ‘Delivery Excellence’ to improve food delivery standards in the restaurant industry. The launch of this initiative took place at the Nest I/O and comprised of an intense two-hour knowledge sharing session amongst the top restaurant brands in the country. The best practices from the global information repository of foodpanda were shared at the launch event.
Foodpanda has long been offering a convenient platform to users to order food online. It has over 1,000 restaurants on board from the major cities of Pakistan i.e. Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi and Peshawar. Its mobile app is available for download at Google Play Store, App Store and Windows Store.
Nauman S. Mirza, the CEO for foodpanda & EatOye (a company that foodpana acquired last year), further explains the objective behind this initiative:

The event included industry experts like Umair Jaliawala, Trainer & Entrepreneur, M. Ahsan Ahmed, Ex-CEO Domino’s Pizza, Asif Ghayas, Manager Brand Extension McDonald’s, Babar Nehal, Owner of Tooso and Dr. Nezihe Hussain, the consumer voice on social media who brought into light never before shared tricks of the trade.
They discussed how immaculate operational practices of food quality from its packaging to its freshness, and timely delivery can impact the overall consumer experience.

The initiative is set to launch in Lahore and Islamabad later this year to revamp the restaurant industry in Pakistan.
