Google Allows You To Make A Father’s Day Video

Father’s Day is round the corner and Google has once again come up with another surprise for its users to celebrate this occasion in full spirit. For those who are still thinking about an ideal gift for your father, try making a movie that captures all the special memories of your childhood with your father. Google has launched a special feature to cater to Father’s Day coming on 18th June, this Sunday where Google Photos allows users to make a video slideshows automatically. The tech giant had come up with a similar feature for Mother’s Day earlier this year.

Mechanism of the feature

The working mechanism of this feature is to first log into your Google account. Thereafter, go to Google photos where you will see an option of “Make a Father’s Day Movie”. Make sure that the account that you are signed in has all the relevant photos and videos that you want Google to retrieve.

Then you choose ‘Get Started’ and Google will request you to select a father and the children that you want to accompany him from the given photos. Interestingly, one can select as many people as one wants in the video. After finishing these steps, a movie is created in some time and the user can view the compiled video by going to the ‘Assistant’ tab. The users can review the rendered movie and can enjoy how accurately Google has created an interesting memory for the family to cherish.

After the video is created, the final step is to give it a quick check and share or save the video. You can click on the share icon which allows you to share it with other people on Google Photos. Additionally, you can also share it with your friends and family on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. On clicking the ‘Save’ button, the video can be saved to your picture gallery.
