Pakistan Post has initiated a programme whereby retired/former government persons can receive their pensions at home. This will prove immensely beneficial amidst the outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Federal Minister of State for Communications Murad Saeed dubbed Pakistan Post employees as “real heroes“. He added that these personnel would deliver pensions to roughly 1.5 million senior citizens across Pakistan.
This initiative has also been appreciated/lauded by the Universal Post Union which is the United Nations’ specialised agency.
