Invest2Innovate has just announced the application opening for the 7th cohort of its i2i Accelerator.
Why is this development significant, you might be wondering.
Let us explain.
Operating in Pakistan since 2012, i2i Accelerator is a startup acceleration program which has been named one of the top 20 Accelerators in Asia by Gust. It is an innovative program where young entrepreneurs find resources & support to build their businesses & be the change they want.
Graduating 35 startups that have since gone on to raise $5.5M and create over 1500 jobs, i2i Accelerator is essentially an annual business bootcamp. Quite interestingly, 86% of the raised funding has been by their female-led startups. So ladies most definitely have been the rockstars of the six cohorts so far.
For the upcoming cycle of the accelerator program, the selected startup founders shall convene for six in-person weekends between October 2018 and February 2019. They shall receive access to intensive business support to grow their businesses over a course of four months.
