Ababeel: New Missile in the Pakistan Armory
Breaking through the India’s anti-missile defense shield technology, few weeks ago, Pakistan Army tested its newly designed missile ‘Ababeel’. It operates with the Multi Independent Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) technology and has a record range of 2,200KM. In addition, with the capacity of carrying nuclear cargoes, it can apparently break through any anti-missile defense system.
With this missile, Pakistan’s offence and defense are now much stronger. According to Inter-service Public Relation (ISPR), it can target process multiple zones making it impossible for the enemies to counter it. The missile is developed using stealth technology which allows it to breakthrough enemy’s radar as well.
ISPR said in an official comment:
“Development of the Ababeel weapon system is aimed at ensuring survivability of Pakistan’s ballistic missiles in the growing regional Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) environment. This will further reinforce deterrence”
The technological advancement has helped both the countries to equip them with the latest and modernized tools. Do you agree with this statement?
