Yes, you read it right … instead of patients running to the doctor through the hailstorm, Pakistan’s uber popular ride-sharing service Careem, in collaboration with the medical app Find my Doctor, is bringing a doctor to your doorstep so that you could be spared the hassle of rushing to the emergency ward for minor treatments.

The offer is a limited time feature (25-26 January 2017), and experienced massive success on it’s first of the two days validity period.

How Does it Work?

By following the simple steps shared below, in a matter of few clicks, you could book a ride with Careem and avail qualified doctors at your doorstep to treat your cold and flu in this weather. All you have to do is:

  1. Open the Careem App and choose MyDoctor car type (In case it does not appear, re-login to your app)
  2. Make a NOW booking between 12pm – 5pm
  3. Press Chalo!

Voila! You’re good to go (or, rather, receive the doctor)!

The only points you need to remember, is that the MyDoctor car type option is available for booking a ride ONLY:

  • On January 25 and January 26.
  • For NOW booking.
  • Between 12pm – 5pm.

The offer by the ride hailing service Careem has been extended in cities Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore. The new cities at Careem’s expanding rostrum: Peshawar, Hyderabad and Faisalabad, do not have this service offer available to them.
