Students who have recently completed their diplomas or degrees from HEC recognized public or private universities are in for a great news. In a recent development, the National Highway Authority (NHA) has announced paid internship program 2022 for all the eligible students.
NHA has disclosed that it will pay a monthly stipend of Rs10,000 to internees who are holding diplomas from any institute. On the contrary, it will pay Rs20,0000 to students who have graduated with university degrees. The duration of the internship program is 3 months.
Eligibility criteria to apply for NHA internship program 2022
A total of 1,046 positions are up for the grabs in 6 different disciplines. Candidates are eligible to apply for the program if they have completed their degree or diploma in any of the following field:
- Diploma in Lab Technology (66 positions)
- Diploma in Auto CAD (140)
- BS Environmental Science (56)
- BS Geo-Technical or Material Sciences (140)
- BS Civil Engineering (280)
- DAE Civil or Quantity Survey (364)
It is pertinent to state that any student who has previously enrolled himself in any NHA internship program is ineligible for this program. In addition, B. Tech, B Tech (Hons) and BS Civil Technology students are also not eligible to apply for this internship program.

Documentation and selection criteria
All interested candidates are encouraged to apply for this internship program only through NHA’s official website. Any application which is sent through any other channel will not be catered.
Students will have to make sure that the documents which they are uploading are attested.
The attested scanned copies of the following documents will be required from the students during the submission of their online applications:
- Front and back of CNIC
- Final transcript of your degree/diploma
It is noteworthy to mention that all documents should be attached either in jpg, jpeg or png format.
Details of educational qualification will also be required to post including marks obtained, name of the university/institute, CGPA, date of completion etc.
The applications will be entertained purely on first come first serve basis. A successful candidate can be posted anywhere subject to the availability of the ongoing NHA project. Anyone who makes the cut shall be contacted either through email or via phone call from NHA representative.
