Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) is a trade association which represents Information Technology (IT) and Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) sectors in Pakistan. The company was founded in 1993 and it is one of the oldest Information and Communication Technology (ICT) associations in the region.
In the latest development, P@SHA has opened the doors for everyone who is interested in submitting their nominations for P@SHA ICT Awards 2016. The 13th year of these awards is aimed to recognize the software and service companies in the country.
The notion will be to provide these companies regional, local and international exposure through ongoing promotional activities. Besides acknowledging the achievements of homegrown Pakistanis, P@SHA ICT Awards will also encourage creativity, excellence and innovation in Pakistan’s ICT sector.
There are plenty of other objectives which includes:
• Providing a platform for bench-marking innovators of the industry
• Creating a pool of opportunities for top winning companies
• Representation of Pakistan Internationally
• Networking opportunities for participants to form business alliances
• Larger pool of knowledgeable workers will be created for further development
• Creating awareness among stakeholders about the current technological developments in Pakistan
There will be 32 (17 product and 15 service) categories for you to submit your nominations this year. You will be required to choose the best possible match for your product/service because only 1 work can be nominated for 1 category. Provided each entry in unique in its own way, there will be no restrictions on the number of categories you want to nominate in.
Following instructions will help you in submitting your nominations:
1- You need to visit P@SHA ICT Awards Website
2- Download the nomination form of a certain category that you want to participate in
3- Provide all the information in the application form and send it to awards@pasha.org.pk
You need to bear in mind that P@SHA will not accept entries on flash drives/CDs/ DVDs etc. You will be required to provide links (if any) along with your application form to any supporting material like videos. They should be uploaded on any freely accessible video sharing website like Vimeo or YouTube. Sharing of original content is highly discouraged.
The winners of P@SHA ICT Awards regional categories will get an opportunity to be a part of Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards where they will compete with participants from the whole region. Other benefits include:
• Winners will be given appreciation and spotlight
• Winning companies from the product categories will get the opportunity to represent Pakistan at the Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) and other international forums.
• An opportunity to establish networks and create business alliances to collaborate with the participating companies
• Exposure to investment opportunities, venture capitalists and investors.
Please note that the deadline for the submission of nominations is 31st July 2016.
