Pepsi’s #LightingUpLives campaign is back; so are the smiles on the faces

One of the most difficult tasks in this world is to make someone smile or laugh. If you have reservations about the statement, you may ask any humorist or comedian for that matter. His answer would actually make you believe about the declaration. But one of the campaigns of Pepsi brings a big wide smile on the beautiful faces of Pakistani people with #LightingUpLives movement.

At the outset, it is pertinent to mention that there is a massive dearth of light and electricity in Pakistan and as a result millions of Pakistanis residing in the country are deprived from one of the basic necessities of life and i.e. light.

In the light of the aforementioned paragraph, Pepsi identified the need of the millions of Pakistanis and decided to give them a solution where they don’t have to suffer from this very problem. Pepsi’s main focus was to bring back the smile on the faces of all the beautiful people.

Pepsi conducted a similar #LightingUpLives campaign last year and it was a huge success in all parts of the country. This is exactly the continuation from the last year when Pepsi changed the lives of millions of people who had previously been living without light by initiating the vastly popular #LightingUpLives campaign.

You will be baffled once you will come to know about the procedure of #LightingUpLives campaign. It is actually YOU who will contribute to help, along with Pepsi, to change the lives of millions of people. Every time you will purchase a bottle of 1.75L Pepsi, Re. 1/- will be donated to light up someone’s life by providing them with the access to light. If you purchase 10 bottles of 1.75L Pepsi, Rs. 10/- will be donated.

The campaign was voiced to the millions of Pakistanis when a TV commercial was on-aired where the heart-throb of the country, the dashing actor, Hamza Ali Abbasi featured. The advert was a brilliant depiction of how on 3 occasions individuals are deprived of the light especially they were in the middle of something. Then a new dawn arises with the power of light. Pepsi was seen going places with efforts to revive the joy in the lives of individuals by introducing the concept of solar power where they would be able to get light at night without any flaw.
