Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has launched an altogether new internet device known as PTCL CarFi. Designed particularly for cars, the cigar-shaped device can be plugged into any car without any real ambiguity. The device promises high-speed and uninterrupted internet on the go in more than 250 cities across Pakistan.
A user of PTCL CarFi can connect the device by plugging it into the cigarette lighter port. As a result, it will become instant hotspot and up to five devices can be connected simultaneously.
Moreover, the device also houses a two-way USB cable and consequently it can connect directly to a laptop. Once PTCL CarFi is connected to a laptop, it can connect as many as 6 users to the internet (1 through USB and 5 via Wi-Fi).

Pricing and availability
The device is available in two different variants:
- Rs4,000 – 15 GB volume – Validity is 3 months
- Rs5,000 – 30 GB volume – Validity is 6 months
It is noteworthy to mention that both the aforementioned packages will be providing unlimited social media bundle which will include free and unlimited usage of Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and Viber (text only), LinkedIn and SoundCloud.
