You can now book your bus ticket from Lahore to Islamabad or vice versa for as low as one rupee. Well, there is a new and luxurious bus service i.e. Royals Express that is going to hit the M2 motorway very soon.
Airline-like Booking Model
According to Royals Express, they will be offering flexible fares similar to what airlines do. The notion is that if you book your seat in advance, then you will be charged less for it. It is significant to state that the fares on the booked rides will keep on increasing (Rs200, Rs400 and so on) until the bus is booked by 50% or more. The upper limit of the fare is Rs800 for a ride between Lahore and Islamabad. it is pertinent to point out that if you’re booking well in advance, you may be able to avail a journey between Lahore and Islamabad against Re1 only.

In a nutshell, if you are the first one to book a ticket on a specific ride then the first ticket will cost mere Re.1. However, the tickets later will keep on increasing and will be sold for Rs200 and Rs400 and so on and so forth.
Another key point is that a customer will also be able to reserve their seats (specific number) online through bookme.pk.

Royals Express and its Features
While speaking to ProPakistani, Royals Express stated that the bus service’s current fleet includes 16 buses. The representative of the company further ensured that in another month’s time 30 more buses will be added in the fleet.
Royals Express is keen and committed to add some more additional features in their buses which will include, but not limited to, kitchen, washroom and on-seat entertainment. Some of the Royals Express buses feature 3 seats in a row. There are some more features which include:
- Wi-Fi service
- Plugged-in power socket for your gadgets
- Option of video games
- Hot and cold beverage service
- Meals in the bus; however, you will have to pay for it
- Tray tables
- Seat adjustment which helps is creating more space between two passengers in the bus
The meals which will be offered in Royals Express will include burgers, chips, snacks, pizzas, fried chicken and much more.

Another important feature is that you can also add a taxi service for the pick-up and drop off to your desired destination.
