The idea of Black Friday

The name ‘Black Friday’ is basically originated from United States of America. Black Friday is the day between Thanksgiving Day and Friday before Cyber Monday.

There are two notions to why they named Black Friday after Thanksgiving Day. One notion is that after the Thanksgiving Day, black wheel marks left by vehicles in heavy traffic led to the term Black Friday.

The other concept relates Black Friday to an old way of recording business accounts in which losses were recorded in red and profits in black. Prior to Christmas, most of the small businesses started earning profits. Many decided to mark profit in black, on the day after Thanksgiving Day.

Black Friday is the biggest shopping event of the whole year so it doesn’t really matter what’s its origin. The event offers amazing deals and marks amazing deals on various items. You can buy newest tech to daily usage items. Till today, it is gaining popularity from across the world, with many businesses utilizing this opportunity with different names offering different deals.
