In collaboration with Chinese company LePhone, Zong has launched 3 4G smartphones in Pakistan at an absolute nominal rates. LePhone is a different firm from LeEco (an emerging Chinese brand).
Under the partnership between the two companies, Zong launched 3 smartphones at the company’s 4G flagship service center in Lahore. Through this launch, the telco operator is aiming that it will empower everyone in the country to make the most of 4G enabled handsets.
For the same, Zong also broadcasted their intentions of upgrading 100% of its network to 4G earlier this year. The move prompted the telecom company to augment the total number of 4G sites to whopping 10,500.
The contract between Zong and LePhone will speed up the transition of 2G and 3G users to 4G, especially after the launch of 4G smartphones. Handsets are available in the market for the purchase.
