In a recent statement from Telecom Company, Zong has stated that it is adding 1000 additional 4G sites across Pakistan in the upcoming 3 months.
Zong further stated that their target of launching 5000 4G sites by the end of 2016 has already been accomplished. As a result, they are 3 months ahead of their goal. It is a clear indication of Zong’s brilliant execution of their 4G site launching plan.
Zong had a total of 5000 4G sites with 4G coverage in over 100 cities till September 2016
Since Zong is now ahead of their achievements by 3 months, China Mobile Communication Corporation – the parent group of CMPak – has decided to invest more capital to launch 1000 additional 4G sites in the next three months.
“To facilitate company’s ambitious expansion plans, Zong has been given a go-ahead for additional investment”
Director Corporate Affairs and Official Spokesperson of the Company, Mr. Maham Dard stated:
“The addition of 1000 4G sites after meeting our 4G expansion target is a huge milestone for us. It testifies our commitment to provide a stable, affordable and reliable network to our customers. We will continue to invest in 4G technology and continue to improve our services to provide a faster, wider and deeper data quality experience to the users. We will continue to invest more and execute more to be able to provide the best quality network to our subscribers”
He further stated:
“Zong envisions enabling a fully connected environment for Pakistanis for which we have invested over PKR 220 Billion so far. Digitization’s a catalyst for economic growth and we’ll continue to enable it by leading the data services market of Pakistan”
Zong: The fastest growing network
With the addition of 1000 4G sites, Zong’s tally will reach to whopping 6000 sites by the end of 2016. Subsequently, it will make Zong the largest, widest and fastest 4G coverage network.
In order to contribute in the company’s plans to expand its business, Zong has been given a green signal to add more capital. The total 4G investment of Zong in Pakistan will cross $300 million through this additional capital.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) recently rated Zong as the No.1 voice and data service operator. Moreover, it is also pertinent to mention that Zong recently expanded its 4G coverage across 100 cities nationwide.
The telecom operator is determined to its long term commitment to the local telecommunication market. The expansion of the coverage is a proof and a strong indication of Zong’s claim. With the release of these additional 4G sites, Zong’s 4G coverage and nature of information that a user experiences will be upgraded. In addition, it will also reflect the organization’s yearning to change the advanced existences of Pakistanis through its high speed data services.
