The Government of Canada has dismissed all the rumors which are circulating on the social media which claims that Canadian Government has shaped a new immigration policy for Pakistan. All these gossips mingling over the internet are totally baseless and nobody should fall in this very trap.
While rejecting all such stories, the Canadian High Commission to Pakistan on its official Twitter account stated:
“Fraud alert: Rumours circulating online of Canadian visa lottery for Pakistanis and others are false”
Citizen and Immigration Canada Also Issues Warning
It is significant to state that Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has also issued a notice on its official website about the same. The CIC has made it loud and clear to be wary against the fraud which is all over the internet. Moreover, they also said there aren’t any changes made in the immigration policy and the people should remain cautious against fake Canadian visa lottery schemes.

The fake schemes on the internet from dishonest advisors are generally tempting people with the following statement:
“Guaranteed visas and jobs in Canada, work permits, free scholarships”
A statement which was mentioned on the official website of CIC was:
“You do not need to hire an immigration representative to apply for a visa or for Canadian citizenship. Immigration representatives do not have special connections with Canadian government officials and cannot guarantee you a visa”
The CIC gave a piece of advice to all the users by stating:
“Beware of internet scams and false websites”

It is important to remain active especially when rumors such as these are frequently circulating in the social media. Possibly, these rumors floated on the internet after Donald Trump imposed ban on 7 seven Muslim countries. As a result, opportunists took the advantage of this news by trapping innocent people in their net.
