CloudClinik – developed by Zong – is Pakistan’s first cloud-based Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Practice Management Software. The mobile network’s flagship product in the health care sector aims at modernizing healthcare records by making them paper-free, thereby providing an optimized user experience for doctors and hospital admins. The cloud based software was formally launched in Islamabad on Thursday.
Utilization of information technology in the healthcare sector is significantly underutilized, particularly in areas of operational efficiency. In Pakistan, majority of the medical institutions and healthcare practitioners heavily rely on paper medical records, whereby significantly limiting collaboration and coordination between patients and doctors.
Zong’s CloudClinik will be offering digital healthcare record solutions for small and large medical facilities. With cloud-based solution, physicians will be able to manage and organize their clinical record in a cloud service with no upfront investment.
Furthermore, CloudClinik will help create an optimal user experience for doctors and administrators streamlining all critical tasks starting with registration to electronically generated prescriptions, and real time reporting with an all-in-one solution that is ideal for both, service providers and consumers.
Some of the notable features in Zong’s CloudClinik include patient registration, appointment management, automatic text alert to patients, patient’s history, system-generated prescriptions, dental record (if applicable), online and guided appointments, medicine billing and information, insurance, medical reports and analytics.
