With 70 Gbps Speed, First 5G Tests Successfully Conducted by Huawei And Telenor

In a latest development, Huawei has stated that it has successfully conducted 5G tests along with Telenor in Norway in the presence of high dignitaries of both companies. It is significant to mention that Huawei also achieved colossal 70 Gbps speed in a controlled lab environment.

According to the telecommunications company, this 5G test has been the first ever 5G based E-band multi-user MIMO demo alliance with any telecom operator.

What is E-band multi-user MIMO?

If anyone does not know or has not heard about this term, it actually can provide more than 20 Gbps speed rate for a single user. Astonishing, isn’t it?

Norway is the country where this 5G test was conducted in the presence of Telenor Group CEO, Sigve Brekke, and President of Telenor Key Account, Zhang Chao.

Telenor is looking forward to deploy its maiden 5G network in Norway whenever it is commercially available. It holds plenty of relevance to mention that this 5G will be operated through the Huawei and Telenor Joint Innovation Center.
