If you are an Android user, all you need is to tap and hold on a specific line of text in a particular chat thread. Once you do it, tap on the backward arrow button that appears on the top. If you are an iPhone user, you need to click on ‘reply’ to respond to a particular line of text.

You can now see who has read your message in a group chat
No blue tick appears in a group chat. However, if a user is keen to know who has read his message in a group chat then he actually can. The process to discover is to tap and hold the message which you have sent and then click the ‘i’ button on the top (if you are an Android user). In case you are an iPhone user, you need to hit on ‘info’ and WhatsApp will display the names of all the individuals who have read your message.

Although this WhatsApp feature has been around for a while now, yet most of the users are still unknown to this very feature. Users can add some weight to a word in a message by applying different symbols before and after a word. An asterisk (*) would make the word appear in bold while adding underscores (_) makes the text appear italicized. You can also strike off a word by using the tilde (~) symbols.
