Yesterday, EasyPaisa made things easier for its customers when they launched a MasterCard credit card service. Following the same pattern today, JazzCash launched Visa Debit Card for all its mobile account users. Through this newly enrolled service, the Visa Debit Card of JazzCash will be interconnected to the mobile account of customer. Subsequently, it will provide much-needed convenience to the number of JazzCash customers as the service will empower them to shop at over 49,000 dealers across Pakistan.
The Visa Debit Card of JazzCash is priced at a minimal fee of Rs200. In addition, it is available at nationwide Jazz Experience Centers on the initial basis. However, the card will be available at further distribution points in the future.
To obtain the Visa Debit Card, a customer needs to have his mobile number registered to JazzCash mobile account. If one does not have any account, Jazz/Warid users can create it easily by dialing *786# while the users of other network can have it opened through biometric verification at Jazz Experience Centers.

While speaking at the launching of the debit card, Chief Digital and Financial Services Officer at Jazz, Aniqa Afzal Sandhu said:
“As a leading provider of Digital Financial Services, at JazzCash we realize the importance of enabling retail purchase transactions; and with the launch of Visa Debit Card we have taken a major step in this direction”
The Visa Country Head for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Kamil Khan was also excited at the launched. He expressed his sentiments by stating:
“This is an exciting one of a kind partnership for Visa in Pakistan where customer’s debit card will be linked to their Mobile Wallet and we are pleased to partner with JazzCash to enable this. This is the latest in our efforts to bring more Pakistanis into the financial mainstream – a move we believe enhances the welfare of individuals, merchants, and the economy as a whole”
