The particulars required for the online pilgrims systems included: a mechanism for selecting the pilgrims, registration of the pilgrims, details regarding Hajj camps and flights.

By May 2017, PITB presented Nigeria with an online Hajj system of their own. To operate the system, PITB also provided training to 5 Nigerian individuals. Subsequently, these trained individuals are then sought to demonstrate the same to the officials in the rest of the 36 states and 776 towns of Nigeria.
