Connectivity has become an integral part of one’s life. As a result, the dire need for connectivity has also amplified. For that, the demand of faster, secured and reliable internet connectivity has cultivated over a period of time. Subsequently, there are companies like PTCL (Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited) which continues to make amends in its technology by regularly upgrading itself. This time around, PTCL is offering a speed of up to colossal 100 Mbps fiber optic internet connectivity so that the customers can be wholly satisfied.

About the project
The user base of PTCL is immense in the country. Therefore, PTCL has elevated itself and is also currently going through a gigantic transformation project and it’s known as Network Transformation Project (NTP). The basic notion of this advancement is to appease the growing internet needs of the customers and businesses.
This new project will upgrade as many as 100 exchanges across the country. At the time of writing this piece, 76 out of 100 exchanges have already been upgraded in 12 cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sialkot and Wah Cantt. As a result, the customers and businesses are relishing high-speed, reliable and consistent internet connectivity.
One of the key aspects of this latest upgrade is that 43% of the customers’ complaints have reduced in those regions where exchanges have been upgraded. NTP will enable the customers to avail 8, 15, 25, 50 and 100 Mbps unlimited internet connectivity. Under this new project, the customers will also be able to make free PTCL calls besides unlimited downloads, free PTCL Smart TV and Smart TV App along with a free Wi-Fi router.

Statement of the executive and the customers
While commenting on the project, the Chief Business Operating Officer at PTCL, Jahanzeb Taj said:
“PTCL has invested a considerable amount in this project because the customer is our main priority. Through the Network Transformation Project, customers can now experience high-speed unlimited internet, unlimited data streaming and seamless surfing. We believe that by bringing innovation and state-of-the-art technology, we can fulfill our responsibility in creating a digitally connected Pakistan”
During PTCL’s on-ground activation in Lahore and Gujranwala, two of the satisfied customers stated:
Sehrish Mahmood: “I am extremely surprised and impressed with PTCL’s new network. I could not have imagined that PTCL would be offering high speeds here. This is a huge project and I am glad that they are running campaigns on this. It is actually good that people are getting awareness about these projects”
Hassan Sarwar: “After experiencing the speed at PTCL’s net network activation, I would say that PTCL is the best option to get. It is not only fast as claimed but it is also economical”
It is significant to mention that PTCL is also enhancing and upgrading its current copper network!
